Mr & Mrs Starbuck
DJ Tim [13:58] Comments: 8 []

Well he did it!!!

It was a really lovely day apart from the Best Man droning on for too long. All went well, apart from when Starbucketta almost put the ring on Starbucks right (as in not left) hand. The weather was not too bad, especially when you considered that there has a huge hail storm about 10 mins before we left for the venue.

Starbuck did manage to get us lost on the way (not once but twice) but I guess that was my fault for believing him when he said he knew the way. After all he'd managed to get us lost the last time he had taken me to see the venue.

Now, what you all want to know is how his speech went. Well despite a few nerves he did a great job -just the right amount of humour and lovey dovyness, and the Prince Charles joke... well what can I say.

As for what song they had their first dance to... well I can't quite remember... but it was one of Frank's... I think... but I'm sure someone will correct me if I am wrong.

Now please all join with me in raising a mouse to the Bride and Groom

Wasn't it I can't help falling in love with you? Or whatever the song whcih has those lyrics is called? I'm a bit hazy too...

Clearly not hazy enough, Stu, for it was indeed 'Can't Help Falling In Love'. And I had so been hoping for The Shamen's 'Move Any Mountain'!

But it was a fantastic day, and really great to catch up with everyone.
