I nearly worked a similar usage in on the editorial, but in the spirit of Christmas I, er, didn't get round to it.

Just as well, considering the strained international relations recent caused by media hysteria over the Celeb Big Brother Shetty-gate affair...

And maybe also not a good time to tell you about Shankar, a homesick physicist from India whom I once knew, who went to see The Indian In The Cupboard at the cinema, only to disappointedly discover it was a children's fantasy featuring a magical toy figure of a Native American...
