Oh god. He's quoting from the Hobbit ZX Spectrum game. "you wait. Times passes" was the response you got when you typed the command "wait" if memory serves.

You can download a free ZX Spectrum emulator and play it for yourself. It's terrible.

Bloody Hell... just read "You Wait time passes" and had an immediate flash back of playing the Hobbit in my parents kitchen.... Spooky - Cheers for the memory

And remember to click the box and hit your RETURN key to move the screen beyond the piccie at each location.

(I was kind of hoping that I'd be able to act as your own emulator via these Comments, to see how Bilbo would cope with multiple players controlling him. But let's face it, the Troll would eat him.)
